Watch furious Kris Boyd’s meltdown as he accuses Aberdeen and Barry Robson

Sitting inside Celtic Park watching the hoops scoring six goals today proved to be too much for Kris Boyd.

A few weeks ago Aberdeen were winning at Ibrox, killing of the Micky Beale dream that Boyd had emotionally invested in from the moment that the former QPR boss was rabble rousing in the Louden Tavern.

Boyd fully subscribes to the bizarre notion that Aberdeen players take it easy when they play Celtic then go the extra mile against the Ibrox Tribute Act.

It seems that rather than watching the champions turn on the style today Boyd was on his favourite message boards for inspiration as he attempts to be a controversial personality for Sky Sports.

What Boyd and his fellow travellers can’t understand is that Celtic are a far better team and tougher opponent than anyone else in Scottish football.

Without trawling through the stats every top flight team will have better record against the Ibrox Tribute Act than the club that has won 11 of the last 12 Premiership titles.

Earlier in the day Boydy had been in his fun loving, cheeky chappy mode as he watched the dismal action from Livingston where the visitors were awarded two penalties.

In two weeks time Boyd will be on Sky duty at Pittodrie with a very strong prospect that the gap at the top of the table will be standing at 11 points.

Anything less than full points for Philippe Clement’s side is likely to result in Boyd getting even angrier than he was today with goading Aberdeen fans all around the Sky Sports team at the match.
