Brendan Rodgers revealed that Cameron Carter-Vickers was substituted at half-time against Hibs as a precaution.
Mentioning hamstring however will be a concern with the defender spending time on the sidelines earlier in the season after suffering a hamstring knock in the second match of the season, away to Aberdeen.
Nat Phillips played alongside Liam Scales during the second half but was at fault for the goal scored by Christian Doidge when Celtic were leading 4-1
BBC Scotland reported Rodgers saying:
Just a precaution. He felt his hamstring tight. He wanted to continue, but there’s no point when we a centre-half on the bench.
Sunday’s plastic surface at Kilmarnock isn’t the sort of surface to take any chances on, back in August Maik Nawrocki suffered a hamstring injury in the closing stages of Celtic’s League Cup exit.
There appeared to be no other injury concerns in tonight’s 4-1 win with Tomoki Iwata putting in an impressive display as a holding midfielder which allowed Callum McGregor to play in a more advanced midfield role.
?? “We scored four goals and could have had a few more. Overall the mentality of the team is very good.”

I know its fashionable to highlight the “classy” mid-fielders…or rave about the goal scorers…but to me….CCV is the best buy we have made in a long long time..
It was an area where we were sometimes vulnerable…but he has put that to bed.
Oh…and as a winger I was tackled by some hefty guys…but I would not like to have been tackled by him…Great player…IMO.
I understand your comment and agree that CCV was one of our best recruits in a long time in that crucial area of the pitch. I saw him and Reo as the ones we NEED, week in week out.
If I may indulge myself here, I also wanted to see Tomoki given game time and what I saw last night was very encouraging as it offers a great alternative if/when Reo is unavailable.
IMHO last night was one of our best performances for quite some time and starting to click NOW augurs well as we can put ourselves in a seriously strong position going into the winter break and Asian Cup.
Hail! Hail! The Glasgow Celtic FC (not the plc, they cheaply hail hail themselves!)
Totally agree Tic Toc…Hail hail
