As a social media addict Todd Cantwell won’t have missed a Twitter exchange from Maurice Ross this morning.

The former Cowdenbeath boss probably wouldn’t have registered with TikTok earlier this week but as a former Rangers team-mate of Alex Rae it might be worthwhile to join the dots.

As soon as the Brains Behind Gerrard was sacked Rae was in the front door with his UEFA Pro licence, Steve Davis fronted things up for two matches before stepping aside while Rae has lingered on providing Philippe Clement with background on Scottish football and the traditions of the original club that died in 2012.

Rae’s old school approach to punditry and disastrous spells in management at Dundee and St Mirren have him characterised in Scotland as an old school dinosaur but he does have a decent playing reputation in England from spells at Sunderland and Wolves. Earlier this year he was assistant manager to Paul Ince at Reading. He is connected.

Cantwell and Rae appear to be polar opposites, if Ross is tweeting that ‘it has been brewing a while’ it suggests that time is up for TikTok as the elusive search for a manager that appreciates his skill set resumes.

His demise should make for some outstanding social media content.

Be interesting to see if Cantwell makes the bench on Sunday.

If a player doesn’t follow the manager’s instructions, then he is

undermining the manager: taking the piss – in front of his

    team mates.

If he’s not on the bench, then he’ll be taking his Alice Bands

    elsewhere come January…?

    🙂

Joe, out of the last 14 topics, 12 have been about ‘them’. Is this a Celtic forum, or an anti Sevco forum?

Editor: It is a commercial website, from experience I know that folk love pain for the Zombies as do I, this site is rather more successful that the back slappers of the #celticfamily.
Lots of fall out on here from Lazio defeat and the AGM where I was asking questions to Nicholson and his mentor Lawwell.

A bit of both I’d say Bobby – It’s a top forum this one for sure…

And it’s important to know what your biggest competitor is up to in the Cheating Steaks !

“U want sheep? Shoot the shepherd!” WTF does that mean?
