St Johnstone last night tweeted about the racist abuse of Diallang Jaiyesim.

It seems that a red card at Ibrox was enough for some to release hatred beyond the colour of a football shirt.

Fortunately in Scotland there has been a box ticking Show Racism The Red Card when clubs can pat themselves on the back while getting on with business as usual.

In 2019 sections of Ibrox were closed for two home matches as UEFA cracked down on the racist actions of home supporters, no comment was made by the Ibrox club until the UEFA punishments were made public.

Very quickly the Anyone, Everyone campaign was rolled out.

Neither Ibrox club has ever been punished by the SFA, SPL, SFL or SPFL despite the weekly menu of anti-Irish and anti-Catholic songs and chants.
