St Johnstone appear to have no weather worries ahead of Sunday’s match at home to Celtic.

Today’s Premiership match between Livingston and Ross County was postponed with fixtures in the three lower divisions falling victim to the weather.

Neither St Johnstone or their SLO has tweeted anything about weather conditions, at tea time tonight the club shared a training video clip from the artificial surface across from McDiarmid Park with barely any snow lying in the background.

If all goes to plan Celtic will kick-off tomorrow at noon with the opportunity to go 11 points clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership.

A 0-0 draw at home to St Johnstone was a real low point back in August but a week later all was well in the world with a 1-0 win at Ibrox.

Other than the 6-0 win over Aberdeen three weeks ago Celtic’s form has been stuttering with little sign of the football that swept opponents aside last season.

The December fixture list offers the chance to develop some winning momentum, starting in Perth the hoops can send out a statement of intent as they target a third successive title win.
