Nat Phillips will be returning to Liverpool in January according to the Anfield Football Twitter account.
With 32,000 followers while following 103 accounts it seems that Anfield Football has a following and reputation for getting things right. One of those followers is the official Liverpool account.
Celtic signed Phillips on loan during the final week of the summer transfer window after a bizarre spell where Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh were all hit by serious injuries within the space of eight days.

It was assumed that Phillips would make his debut at Ibrox on September 3 but a lack of match fitness left him on the sidelines as Liam Scales and Gus Lagerbielke put in an inspired display as Celtic secured an unexpected victory.
Scales has played in every match since leaving Phillips to deputise for Carter-Vickers such as in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Kilmarnock where an own goal from the on loan Liverpool defender levelled the scores.
With Lagerbielke, Nawrocki and Welsh back in full training it seems inevitable that Phillips will return to Liverpool next month.
I would hire a mini bus if Phillips would take a few more of those imposters in the Celtic squad with him on his journey and drop them off at Dumfries,Carlisle,Preston ,Blackpool, Tangmere and Salford etc cos that’s where a lot of them should be playing instead of wearing our hoops.
Send him now, Lagerbielke as a player signed on contract should play before a loanee.
Best news I’ve heard all day. Don’t let the door hit your arse on the way out.
