‘Should get their Season Tickets taken’ ‘We do this constantly’ ‘hypocritcal mate’ Debate rages over ‘Shameful’ Feyenoord Ticket issue

The official attendance was given as just over 56,000 which is about 3,000 under capacity.

Feyenoord fans filled 3,500 seats in the away section but there were Dutch fans in almost every area of the home sections with no reports of any problems between the fans.

The fact that the match was a dead-rubber contributed to that, an 82nd minute equaliser followed by a 90th minute winner in any of the previous matches would have provoked more reactions.

Seeing Feyenoord fans sitting by their side seems to have kicked off a big debate among Celtic fans as they discovered first hand what is common practise for Celtic away games.

Getting a 5% away allocation is far from ideal, meaning that hundreds of Celtic fans have to do some undercover work with a half-n-half scarf essential wear for matches in Madrid, Rome and Rotterdam.

Many fans that went to the match seem fairly angry that others sold their ticket but after a lacklustre Champions League campaign the chance to recover £46 or more a fortnight before Christmas proved difficult to resist.
