After losing 2-0 to Lazio in midweek Brendan Rodgers has made two changes to the side that faces St Johnstone today.

Luis Palma returns from suspension to replace James Forrest with David Turnbull taking over from Paulo Bernardo in the centre of the park.

Tomoki Iwata has missed the last two squads but earns a place on the bench, despite making his Celtic debut last week as a substitute against Motherwell there is no place for Marco Tilio on the bench.

Despite drawing with Motherwell the hoops remain eight points clear at the top of the table going into the packed December fixture list.

Back in August Celtic were held to a 0-0 draw at home to St Johnstone, this afternoon there will be a new old face in the Saints dug out with Craig Levein now in charge.

Don Robertson will referee today’s match with Kevin Clancy on VAR duty.
