Andrew Dallas covered up another shocking performance on VAR duty by awarding Kilmarnock a penalty at Ibrox with the home team already leading.
It was the first time in 75 SPFL matches that the 2012 Tribute Act have had a penalty awarded against then, a run that covers 23 months, three Ibrox managers, three UK Prime Ministers and a change in UK monarch.
Before the 59th minute penalty Dallas Mini lived up to his reputation which peaked in 2019 when he awarded four penalties in one match that left even Steven Gerrard bemused as his side crushed St Mirren.
With the match goal-less John Souttar almost pulled the shirt off Danny Armstrong, John Beaton looked the other way while Dallas, one of two full time VAR officials blinked and allowed play to continue.

The same process was in operation just before half-time when Abdallah Sima flicked the ball over his head with his upper arm then turned to volley into the net. The Kilmarnock defender looked dazzled at how the movement had been carried out.

The 74 match run has now ended, leaving the Tribute Act on the same mark as peak- Barcelona, with the social media attention firmly on that run the pressure is now off Dallas, Beaton and their refereeing brotherhood as they set off on another extensive run of honest mistakes.
