Kings of Conspiracies- Paranoid Kris Boyd in amazing attack on Celtic

Kris Boyd has branded Celtic as Kings of Conspiracies.

The former Portland Timbers ace scored just once against the hoops in his long, glorious career with that fact dominating his thoughts as a pundit. Over 12 months Kyogo Furuhashi has scored seven times as much as Boyd.

With his playing days coming to an end Boydy opted for a career in the media just as Celtic were embarking on the most dominant period of success in Scottish football history.

Five Trebles since 2016 have taken a heavy toll on the former Ibrox hero- rubbing salt into the open wounds he has been teamed up with Chris Sutton on Sky Sports since the start of this season.

In the studio that combination is as much a mis-match as it was on the pitch. Sutton scored twice in his first ever Glasgow Derby then completed the Whitewash in 2004 with the sort of goal that Boyd never managed in his entire career.

With Celtic fan media highlighting the issues that the mainstream won’t go anywhere near Hoops supporters are among the most educated in the game, something that seems to be tearing Boyd apart during every waken hour.

Over at Ibrox there has been three statements in a week attacking the SFA and one match official, even someone like Boyd knows that it is the background of the referee rather than a handball decision that has sparked the attacks of the last week.

These days it is difficult to distinguish between the paranoia of the Ibrox board and the unhinged claims from their fan media partners but as ever Boyd blames Selik as he explains to The Sun:

THERE’S only one club in Scottish football leading the way in conspiracy theories, and a belief the world is against them. And it’s not Rangers.

Let’s get it right, when it comes to peddling the narrative that the SFA and their referees are biased, Celtic are kings.

Their supporters have been brainwashed into believing our top officials are too terrified to award a penalty at Ibrox.

Their chief executive even spun the line at Celtic’s recent agm, to divert attention away from the criticism the board were getting from shareholders. Predictably the saps all lapped it up.

Perhaps the majority of shareholders, mainly elderly, lapped up the AGM comment as top banter but online Celtic fans criticised Nicholson as he turned a serious point into a joke.

The AGM question was about John Beaton booking Kyogo against St Mirren then ignoring a penalty box assault on the striker in the same match.

Soon after Andrew Dallas on VAR duty ignored three shirt pulls on Celtic players against Ross County but agreed with the decision to disallow a ‘goal from Liam Scales following minimum physical contact. In other matches Dallas is quick to highlight shirt pulling.

As recently as last Saturday a perfectly good penalty claim for a foul on David Turnbull has been ignored by the mainstream on account of a wrong offside call from assistant Callum Spence.

While one club went 74 matches without conceding a penalty in the SPFL Celtic had two awarded against them in the first domestic fixture involving VAR. Later in that match a ‘goal’ from Liel Abada was disallowed with no supporting VAR graphic ever produced to justify the decision.

Breaking the bubble of the Clement Revolution seems to have sent Ibrox fans and cheerleaders into meltdown, Boyd has two weeks of thinking time to fill before he can get his head back into real matters with a Scottish Cup tie at Dumbarton to enjoy.
