A first minute goal from Daizen Maeda set Celtic up for a comfortable 3-0 win over St Mirren.
With four successive wins for the first time this season the hoops go into the winter break eight points clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership table and appear to have recovered form after back-to-back defeats against Kilmarnock and Hearts.
In three trips to Paisley Ange Postecoglou recorded a win, a loss and a draw but when Matt O’Riley doubled the lead in the sixth minute even a questionable grey/silver kit wasn’t going to deny the visitors full points.

St Mirren had Toyosi Olusanya sent off in first half stoppage time but the outcome of the match seemed assured long before his dangerous challenge on Joe Hart.
Celtic continued to dominate after the break but only managed one goal, a brilliant opportunist strike from Greg Taylor on the hour mark as the full-back showed his team-mates how to finish.
With Reo Hatate and Liel Abada coming off the bench during the second half Rodgers couldn’t have asked for much more from the trip to Paisley.
