At this time of year transfer speculation is flowing from every direction, clubs want to buy and sell players, the men in the middle are weighing up what move best suits their interests.

At times it can seem that there are reports breaking on an hourly basis, most of which can be dismissed and forgotten almost as quickly as they appeared.

There are some reliable sources out there, when it comes to Cameron Carter-Vickers one American based reported has an uncanny knack for anticipating the next stage in the defenders career.

Back in July 2021 Larry Hendry Jr flagged up interest from Celtic in the Spurs defender, it took until the final day of the summer window for a loan deal to be concluded but Hendry instantly gained credibility.

The summer of 2022 was fairly fraught but again Hendry called it right about Carter-Vickers returning on a permanent basis, he has also been on the ball with injury news and comebacks.

Today he had worrying news about Celtic’s best defender, on SBI Soccer, Henry reports:

Cameron Carter-Vickers has been crucial to the Celtic backline since joining the club in 2021 and other clubs are beginning to take notice.

West Ham United, Nottingham Forest, and Brentford are all interested in acquiring Carter-Vickers from Celtic, a source close to the player confirmed to SBI. All three clubs are keen in bolstering their backlines and Carter-Vickers’ impressive two seasons in Scotland have led to growing interest this window.

A January move seems unlikely with Carter-Vickers currently injured but with Henry’s track record the summer could be fraught with concerns over CCV.
