Dermot Gallagher cracking penalty gags on Ref Watch!

Dermot Gallagher was way out of touch as he reviewed events at Tynecastle yesterday on Sky Sports News.

Ref Watch is the popular Monday morning feature where the former EPL ref reviews the big decisions of the weekend and attempts to explain them to fans.

Brendan Rodgers didn’t hold back on his views when he spoke to Sky after the 2-0 defeat at Hearts with John Beaton on VAR duty deciding the outcome of the match.

It seems that Gallagher hasn’t been paying attention to Scottish football or Sky Sports have been steering clear of the numerous incidents involving Connor Goldson, or Goldson’s Law as some call it.

No matter how many touches he takes off various parts of his arm the match referee and the VAR take no action with media messengers given various excuses to explain why no action was taken.

In their last 84 SPFL matches just one penalty has been awarded against the Ibrox Tribute Act, a run covering more than two years, three managers and 18 months of VAR decisions.
