Celtic will officially be backed by over 3,000 fans away to Dundee on Sunday.

Away fans still get a decent allocation at Dens Park even though the home sections are unlikely to be close to capacity.

While there is a very definite Cup Final to be played in at Hampden on May 25 Sunday’s match will have a cup final feel to it with high stakes on the line.

Going into the post-split fixtures Celtic have a handy three point lead but there isn’t any margin for error if they are to retain control of the situation.

During the build up to Sunday’s 3pm kick off there is bound to be a constant flow of information from Paisley where Philippe Clement’s side are in action kicking off at 12.30.

St Mirren and Dundee have their own contest for fifth place and a slot in next season’s Europa Conference League qualifiers.

That battle will be secondary to the tussle at the top with Celtic knowing that winning their next three matches will go a long way to clinching third successive SPFL Premiership title.

After the physical and emotional impact of Hampden on Saturday Brendan Rodgers will have to manage his squad very carefully this week but there is the benefit of an eight day gap before the match at Dundee.

Back in December Celtic won 3-0 at Dens Park, after  goal-less first half Paulo Bernardo opened the scoring with Mikey Johnston coming off the bench to score two late goals.

Decent allocation and I don’t think that Dundee FC are as anti Celtic as a tiny number of Celtic fans used to make out…

Of course Sevco get on first once again and it’s the same in the midweek Matchday in May of course –

Sky TV showing their true (blue) colours yet again !

Against rangers on Wednesday Dundee fans were singing ohh ahh up the RA and flower of Scotland in the Derry I’ve never heard it before in my life but had no problem with it . There was older generations that were a bit loyalist but the majority of Dundee fans these days are anti English pro independence. I think Celtic as a club have done Dundee a few favours in recent years like the emergency loaning of Connor Hazard and selling the pitch covers and little things that have Dundee fans having a secret respect for Celtic.I think Strachan has to be credited with bringing the clubs higher ups together

Aye, there’s no doubting who Sky’s favourite football company is, the one formed as Sevco Scotland Limited in 2012 and who played its 1st ever game vs Brechin on 29th July 2012 under that name prior to changing the name to The Rangers Football Club Limited on Tuesday 31st July 2012, LEST THEY FORGET!
Anyway, many moons ago I got Sky after being badgered by my son, a keen footballer. We had it for a few years and then, after a couple of errors with playback, I binned it ONCE AND FOR ALL, a decision I’ve never regretted.
But wouldn’t it be nice, with all the new-fangled technology and stuff, if you could get to watch all the football you wanted on all kinds of channels for a very reasonable cost?
      Hmmmm…..I think I’m onto something here……. 🙂
