EXCLUSIVE! Battle opens up for Ibrox ace Roofe!

Football Insider has come up with another classic feel good story to bring cheer to their Ibrox followers.

It is over two years since Kemar Roofe was able to complete 90 minutes of a football match but despite that he apparently has two EPL and two Championship clubs battling for his services. According to Soccerway he has played for 369 minutes across 11 matches this season.

With his lucrative contract ending next month Roofe will leave as a free agent without any of the spin associated with Malik Tillman’s summer knock-back being compensated with a sell-on clause.

Football Insider appears to have sources at over 40 clubs spilling the beans on key transfer activity, being generous around 5% of their click-bait claims ever become reality.

In typical fashion Pete O’Rourke reveals:

Fulham, Sheffield United Southampton and Queens Park Rangers are plotting moves for Rangers striker Kemar Roofe this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The 31-year-old is out of contract this summer and as yet there has been no new deal agreed to keep him at Ibrox.

Roofe, who is back to full fitness after a stop-start season, is a proven goalscorer having helped Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title in his debut season and then also played a key role in the club reaching the Europa League final the following season.

Matching his current £45,000 a week salary is likely to flush out genuine interest, sources have told Video Celts.

Roofe’s agent would love to have the level of interest suggested in the striker, after starting just 32 SPFL matches since his move from Anderlecht in August 2020 it will be a struggle to get a pay-as-you-play deal unless a sympathetic CEO or Recruitment Head can be identified.
