The SFA has put together an impressive Story of the Match from Celtic’s Scottish Cup semi final win over Aberdeen.

Leaning heavily on coverage of supporters the 12 minute video includes drone footage and picks up on the two clubs arriving at Hampden with Aberdeen getting off an impressive coach that will leave no one in any doubt over who is on board.

The video picks up as the atmosphere builds through the warm up towards kick off time then comes alive- with Bojan Miovsky giving Aberdeen a fifth minute lead.

Celtic were only in control for a spell midway through the second half but were unable to add to James Forrest’s goal.

That left the door open for Aberdeen to get back into the match, for the rarity, neutrals in Scottish football, the scenes were impressive as the Dons scored towards the end of 90 minutes then extra time to take the match into penalties.

Celtic fans were left devastated as they twice watched victory snatched away but the drama had barely started as the tie moved into a penalty shoot out.

Joe Hart’s name dominated the coverage, when he pushed away penalty number 14 from Cillian Phillips the match was decided with Celtic returning to Hampden looking to win the trophy for the 42nd time.
