Barry Ferguson has suggested that Phil Clement targets Callum McGregor with foul play on Saturday.
It seems that the return to match fitness of the Celtic skipper has spooked the ranks of the Rangers media pundits with Stuart McCall making a similar suggestion on Radio Scotland.
Both Ferguson and McCall are currently out of management after being given a variety of chances at clubs such as Motherwell, Clyde, Bradford and Alloa.
Celtic fans will recall the brutality of a Scottish Cup visit to Alloa in January 2022 where Ferguson and his assistant Bob Malcolm took full advantage of the leniency of Don Robertson to leave a few markers on Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
Yosuke Ideguchi’s Celtic career was virtually over before he had started, listening to Go Radio, the Daily Record reports Ferguson saying:
