Saturday surely marked the beginning of the end of Kenny Miller’s media career.
Even by the pitiful standards of the Scottish media the former Rangers striker went way too far, when Kris Boyd is mocking your blinkered pro-Ibrox views it really is time to take stock.
Even Philippe Clement knew not to defend or justify the assault on Alistair Johnston from John Lundstram. But Kenny knew better- to hilarious effect.

On Sky Sports Miller justified the attack on the Celtic defender during the match and at half time. Given the chance to calm down after the final whistle he kept on digging, going in deeper as Chris Sutton, Neil Lennon, James McFadden and even Boyd, yes the Clown’s Clown until losing that title yesterday, trolled Miller as he stood like an angry kid with the petted lip as a nation laughed at him.
By 5.30pm Kenny Macintyre and Tom English were on his case on Radio Scotland as he collected another media cheque. Digging and digging deeper still.
Online the Daily Record, who pay for Miller’s ‘exclusive’ thoughts every Sunday were sending him up. Reproducing the comments from the Sky Pundits as Oor Kenny proved that he is the staunchest of them all by defending Lundstram to the hilt.
Current players eyeing up a media career should study Miller’s performance yesterday if they wish to have a career as a pundit, enjoying the easiest gravy train imaginable. And don’t do what Kenny did.
The Record could have switched off the comments on that tweet, instead they got some priceless feedback on their top Sunday pundit.
Cheerleader on the demudamol ??

Embarrassing from Miller. It was a deliberate attempt to get sent off. A shocking tackle.

Miller is not fit for purpose

For him to say it’s not a red card but would give it an orange card. Ridiculous comment and he needs called out on it. He knew what he was saying ?

Sometimes it is better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

“I understand why it’s a red… I just don’t like the situation we’re put in with VAR” ?

Which pundit is the biggest laughing stock in Scottish football?
MILLER His Lundstram defence will never be exceeded, will it?
BOYD Consistently off the radar, every week, great consistency

Think we should all cut Creosote Kenny some slack as he is obviously suffering PTSD from the time that Jozo launched him in the air 😉 Difference being of course .. Jozo got the ball first !!!
Incapable of objective opinion, no one should be near a pundits job unless they can be, but lets be honest, Miller and his ilk, are the result of a decade or more of the media not holding Sevco to account so now we have a situation when there actually is reason for a red, they neither recognise it nor want to acknowledge it.
Personally I think Collum did well yesterday considering the unbearable pressure put upon him.
I think Miller’s issues go deeper, back to us flogging him to Derby County supposedly against his wishes. It was a good bit of business though, scooping £2m for a guy that hadn’t set the heather alight who we’d got on a Bosman, then replacing him with Scott McDonald who was more of a goalscorer and formed a more effective partnership with JVOH than Miller had.
And the Simunovic tackle probably sealed it!
I watched Sportscene last night and actually thought Neil McCann was objective and fair in his analysis of the match…
Finally got a clip of Miller on Sky on the iPad and even the most rabid Sevco Hun must see that this ex Green and White Hibernian fan was desperately trying to curry favour by playing to their gallery –
Bloody Hell – That was one bloody desperate performance by him – Iwonder if he’s even embarrassed today, probably not, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes a weeks ‘holiday’ from whoring himself from media duties….
That said – I truly hope that he’s on Clyde Superscoreboard tomorrow night to see what he’s got to say and to fine dine on his utter pain !
SCHADENFREUDE – SCHADENFREUDE – SCHADENFREUDE !!!!
Millers performance yesterday
Just the perfect example of the sports media in Scotland
Shameless Rangers * cheerleaders everywhere being paid to talk absolute b*llocks
