As he prepares for the misery of another Celtic title party Neil McCann would probably like to forget all about his Mystic Meg title predictions from just three months ago.
Excitement was sky high at Ibrox during February as their team moved into top spot in the SPFL Premiership under the guidance of A Proper Football Manager.
From the turn of the year Clement’s side racked up 11 successive wins in the SPFL and Scottish Cup which went down a treat with the media who fueled the delusions of the fans and vice versa.
A 3-1 home win over Ross County was typical of that time, that match had been postponed in December due to travel issues from Dingwall but when it was played Clement’s side took the points that they had been denied.
Picking up on McCann’s appearance on Sportscene, on February 15 (Admin plus 1) the Daily Record reported the former Ibrox star saying:
The one thing I would like to point out is that a fanbase can be a real powerhouse but they can also be a real weakness and I think the fans are showing a real true form of support because so often – even when I was playing – they get on edge. They know they need goals.
They want to go top of the league so badly after being so far behind but there’s an enormous amount of patience being shown by that support right now and that is helping the team stay relaxed, cool and calm – maybe not the same across the city.
With Dundee the visitors to Ibrox tonight hopefully the BBC can include McCann on their radio or television coverage of the match.
He’ll be there to see the ‘enormous amount of patience being shown by the support’ which should allow the former Dundee boss a distraction from the personal problems going on in his life.
Which pundit is the biggest laughing stock in Scottish football?
MILLER His Lundstram defence will never be exceeded, will it?

BOYD Consistently off the radar, every week, great consistency

The lap of ‘honour’. The fist pumps. The chest-beating.
Clement celebrated a 3-3 draw. In his own stadium. With no away fans.
That was the moment the title was over.

Curious to see what the turnout is like at the Theatre of Hate tonight. Think a lot of them will turn up in fancy dress – as blue seats…..
Here’s hoping McCann and the long suffering and patient home support are shouting Fucking Boooo!! at the end of the game tonight.
Lol going for quadruples,Barbie running about with shorts numbered 56,Miller slabberring on a load of shite all for the sake of getting a gig at the BIGOT dome.
Long may the Conedy Gold continue.
Ah Neil…
Ya should’ve read the Celtic v Sevco (that’s ma word not theirs) thread on Swallow Swallow…
There’s not a lot of patience on that side of the city’s supporters…
And I’ll actually name that side of the city’s supporters that I’m referring to unlike you matey…
They go by the name of – SEVCO HUNS !!!
