Kyogo Furuhashi wasted no time in getting the party underway as Celtic faced Hearts with the SPFL finishing line in sight.
Lawrence Shankland had a first minute shot cleared for a corner, at the other end of the park he was given a lesson in finishing from his Celtic counterpart.
Reo Hatate lobbed a clearance back into the danger area, Zander Clark was caught off his line with a well-placed header from Kyogo putting Celtic into an early lead against opponents that they had lost to in their previous two matches.
Kyogo continued his run towards the Green Brigade, absent when Hearts won at Celtic Park in December where his header was greeted with noise and colour.
Inevitably there was a VAR check, it was marginal, on the goal line Shankland was playing the Celtic striker onside- as was the heel of Clark. Goal stands.
That goal set the tone and settled the nerves, within 20 minutes Celtic were leading 2-0 and well on their way towards a six point lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership.
Yesterday saw the Celtic players and supporters as one, feeding off and taking inspiration from each other.
This Saturday there is an even bigger match approaching with every indication that Celtic are coming to the boil at exactly the right time.
