After decades in front of the camera sharing his views on the biggest matches and tournaments in football it seems like Guillem Balague is diversifying into video production.

Taking time off away from the Press Box he visited Glasgow at the weekend and made sure that he took in much more that ‘just a football match’ as he proudly showcased in his city video.

It is doubtful if Glasgow’s Tourist Office will get any comparable value from the four minute video that Balague shared with his one million followers on Twitter.

Naturally the build up, action and reaction to Saturday’s match is central to the video but there are also shots of the Clutha Bar, Malaga Tapas and the Pavillion Theatre to give it an authentic city stamp that extends beyond football.

With the sun shining on Saturday the city came to life with green and white the dominant colour. There are gems throughout the video with the throwaway ‘not today’ reply over half and half scarves typical of the quality of the video clip.

Tonight Celtic can finish the job of winning the SPFL title by taking at least a point away to Kilmarnock.

Balague will be watching that one from afar but on the back of his video there are bound to be fans around the world making plans to visit Glasgow’s number one tourist attraction.
