Chris Sutton enjoyed a ringside seat as Celtic clinched the SPFL Premiership title at the first time of asking.
Saturday’s 2-1 victory in the Glasgow Derby put the hoops in pole position to win the title but the next venue, Rugby Park, carried painful memories with two defeats suffered there earlier in the season.
There was no chance of a repeat tonight, within 12 minutes Adam Idah and Daizen Maeda had scored from close range to the delight of the away supporters crammed in behind that goal.
The outcome was never in doubt when James Forrest scored in the 35th minute it became a case of how many with the As It Stands table showing Celtic six points clear with one match left to play.
Well played Brendan Rodgers and Celtic on yet another title??Special praise for Joe Hart, Matt O’Riley and the classy Callum McGregor and James Forrest. Serial winners who do their talking on the pitch ? ????

After the break there wasn’t quite the same purpose and edge to Celtic’s play but Matt O’Riley scored his 16th and 17th goals of the season, either side of Danny Armstrong having a goal disallowed for the home side.
Celtic will be presented with title number 54 on Saturday, a week later they have a Scottish Cup Final to deal with as they look to double up on the honours following last season’s treble.
Where did Kris Boyd go after the final whistle?
I saw Eilidh, Brendan, Neil and James McFadden but no sign of Boydy – I wonder why?
Because Boydy went to a Voydy…
Just what he and his brain is…
An EMPTY SPACE !!!!!
Sums boyd up , hopefully sky ask the same question before letting him go , absolute shitebag .
There’s a video posted online with him sitting alone with his back turned while Celtic celebrated 3 in a row on the pitch , what a sad bitter little man, glad he’s hurting, hope sky sack this pathetic little sevco cheerleading Hun
