As we’ve witnessed down the years playing against 10 men gives you a massive advantage, the chances of winning are greatly increased the longer that you have a one man advantage. Football is also a game of small margins.Â
On March 3 Don Robertson and John Beaton decided that Yang Hyun-jun raising his boot as Alex Cochrane charged towards him should be upgraded from a yellow card to a red. After 15 minutes Hearts were handed a big advantage, they took it and won 2-0 backed up by a ridiculous penalty prompted by Beaton.Â
Celtic lost the match and appealed against the sending off, the decision stood with the winger suspended for two matches.Â
In midweek the SFA published the third of their Independent VAR Reviews, Yang’s red card wasn’t mentioned so we have to assume that the decision was backed by another layer of SFA bureaucracy.Â
Two pictures which proved yesterday that Celtic are refereed to a different level than other clubs. Difference being that Forrest stayed on his feet and didn’t cheat. pic.twitter.com/HlDsmV1AyM

Celtic and Hearts met again yesterday, the Laws of the Game haven’t been changed but Kevin Clancy and Nick Walsh decided not to apply the same ‘logic’ as Robertson and Beaton had at Tynecastle.Â
Trailing 2-0 after half an hour Dexter Lembikisa feared James Forrest getting away from him for a run down the left wing.Â
Panicked, the Hearts defender raised his boot head high, connecting with Forrest’s nose as the move came to a halt.Â
Clancy didn’t reach for his red card, he didn’t opt to book the Hearts defender or even award a free-kick. Walsh made no intervention.Â
Celtic had to wait until the 87th minute for their third goal, sapping the energy from their players and denied the opportunity to rack up a few more goals in a tight title race.Â
When he was quizzed about refereeing ‘inconsistencies’ at the 2023 AGM Michael Nicholson decided to crack a joke to the hilarity of his boardroom colleagues.Â
? “Penalty Rangers”

Yang was sent off at Hearts for the same high boot as Gomez on Johnson then. No action taken against Gomez as common sense prevailed…

CHEATS with whistles, flags and monitors…
Then, now and eternally…
And as per always The deaf and dumb Lord Lucan-Nicholson will do, see and say NOTHING !!!
Don’t be conned with his catholic sounding name.
I asked his cousin is he in the grip..
Still waiting on an answer 3 years later.
Michael Nicholson attended St Aloysius School, Glasgow.
A Jesuit College. He seems to be just a mild mannered person.
Is he a Mason?. Ask him. I doubt it.
I’m referring to Clancy…
If you asked Mr. Nicholson if he was a Mason, he would probably reply to you
“Penalty Rangers!”
It is the only thing I have ever heard him reported as saying!
Has he got a continuim vocabulary? I don’t know! He certainly doesn’t use it!
That reply to the shareholder was rank puerile!
It wasn’t funny and he and his collegues on the Board were the only ones who were laughing!
“Michael Nicholson Attended Saint Aloysuis School. So what?
He paid for his education?
Plenty of Saints have come from far humbler backgrounds!
Is he a Mason? Yes, I would say, he is a
“Catholic Mason”!
Him and his cleek may as well be Masons.
They are certainly entitled. They answer to no-one but their paymaster!
And you just proved it by boasting about his educational entitlement!
Fat Larry Tefal Heed should’ve been sent off
Something definitely dodgy about Nicholson,I will let you all think on that, but just look at that photo of him, something ain’t right.
