Ally McCoist has resurfaced after his weekend from hell watching Celtic move into an almost uncatchable position in the race for the SPFL Premiership title.
Since the turn of the year the chubby chappie was increasingly confident of a second SPFL success as he clambered on board the Proper Football Manager bandwagon created by Phil Clement’s cheerleaders.
A Quadruple success was being tipped in March with McCoist leading the charge with his plan to commit Hate Crimes during the visit of Celtic on April 7.
He soon backed down from that plan, over the weekend the bunting and band were cancelled as he faced upto the reality of another Celtic title success, adding to the Roll of Honours for Scotland’s most successful club.
A six point swing accompanied by an eight goal swing on goal difference still gives McCoist hope of success but in trademark fashio he was cracking gags about the possibility.
Picking up on his appearance on TalkSPORT this morning, the Daily Record reports McCoist saying:
Mate, we are so far off it, we need Spurs to beat Man City to have a chance for Rangers to win the league. I am afraid the eternal optimist has just about given up hope. It’s not been a good weekend, at all, particularly for John Lundstram, an own goal and a red card. He has probably had a worse weekend than most.
During McCoist’s brief spell in management he lost cup ties to Malmo, Maribor, Falkirk, Dundee United, Queen of the South, Inverness Caley Thistle, Raith Rovers and Forfar Athletic.
After losing to Alloa Athletic in the 2014/15 Challenge Cup semi-final he went on gardening leave, after losing the final to Raith the previous year he led the Karaoke at the post match party back at Ibrox.

There is a way around this from a great tip I got from a SEVCO fan of all people…
If (on an iPad anyway) you –
1) Click the settings button…
2) Touch Safari button on the left side…
3) On right hand side scroll down to Advanced and touch…
4) This will lead you to a button called Java Script – it will be showing green so swipe it to off…
5) Go back to main page and type in Video Celts…
6) You should be able to zip through Video Celts and plenty other Celtic Forums at fast speed thereafter…
7) When finished on Video Celts or any other Celtic Forums reverse the above process as until you put things back to the way they were you won’t be able to access things like you tube…
8) Good Luck – Hopefully this helps – Let me know if it hopefully improves your enjoyment of Video Celts !
