BBC Scotland are going all-in with their attempts to shape the build up to Saturday’s Glasgow Derby.

Even the most loyal of mainstream publishers have been unable to ignore the video clips of Jack Butland and Borna Barisic but the state broadcaster has refused to go near those stories.

Today’s big story is apparently talks going on over the loan deal for Oscar Cortes being converted to a permanent move. The Colombian has started three matches for Phil Clement’s side before his season was ended by injury.

Further Ibrox friendly stories continue including Jamie Murphy’s thoughts on the future of John Lundstram before they perk things up with news of a £7m price tag on a Celtic linked defender. Unlikely.com.

With Kenny Macintyre, Alasdair Lamont, Tom English, Jane Lewis and Steven Thompson driving the agenda there is no chance of the state broadcaster falling foul of the Ibrox PR machine as they did for a hilarious seven year stand off when their Ibrox coverage was more gushing than normal.

ON BBC Sevco only good news allowed on all things at the Bigotdome. Sunny days. Fluffy clouds. Rainbows. Friendly fans. Players all in harmony. Nothing but good times ahead. Over at Celtic Park its doom, gloom, pestilence, plague, earthquakes, lightning and a general unease as the arrival on Saturday of Scotlands most successful 11 year old club.

In true traditional form after losing Richard Foster to football coaching ,ahem , the BBC decided that it needed to cover the huge hole . What did it do ? It recruited Lee McCulloch and Stuart McCall for commentary duties to fill the gap …a one out …2 in situation with our money !Aww , the ultra dependable ,ever loyal BBC Scotland …nice work if you can get it !

It’s beyond the pale for those of a Non Sevco persuasion who read it I guess…
