Hamza Igamane is poised for a dream move to Ibrox with a £2.5m fee agreed to sign the Moroccan u-23 internationalist.

According the Transfermarkt Igamane has scored 13 goals in 38 league appearances over the last two seasons.

It looks another decidedly average addition to last season’s squad where James Tavernier and Cyriel Dessers were the top scorers.

Phil Clement is badly in need of adding some goal threat to his squad. Kemar Roofe has been released, Sam Lammers has returned from a loan spell at Utrecht with the fitness of Danilo unknown after he suffered a knee injury in December away to Hearts.

Keeping the good news and deflections going, The Sun reports:

Hamza Igamane looks set to become boss Clement’s fifth new signing of what’s been a busy summer already.

The 21-year old has agreed a five-year deal with an official announcement from Rangers expected imminently.

The Gers will pay a £2.5million fee for Igamane, who is a Morocco under-23 international.

He’ll be joining Rangers from FAR Rabat in his homeland.

The Gers have already snapped-up Jefte, Oscar Cortes, Clinton Nsiala and Connor Barron this transfer window.

Igamane is hoping to be in the Morocco squad for the Olympic Games in Paris with their first match on July 24 against Argentina which will minimise training time at Murray Park and rule the striker out of the opening matches of the season including the Champions League Third Round qualifier.

Meanwhile there is no sign of bids flooding in to sign James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Tom Lawrence, Ben Davies, Rabbi Matondo and Todd Cantwell with the serial losers starting pre-season training today.
