Rocco Vata is reported to have offers from 15 clubs to consider with his Celtic deal expiring at the end of this month.
The 19-year-old has been in and around the Celtic first team squad over the last two seasons but was restricted to just two substitute appearances in the season just finished.
There has been strong speculation over the last two transfer windows that Vata would be on the move, since the turn of the year he has been able to sign a pre-contract deal elsewhere.
Italian clubs have been strongly linked with the teenager that can play on the right wing or as a striker but at this time he remains a Celtic player.
The Daily Record (7.01am) reports Dad Rudi saying:
Rocco is a very unique boy. He has had 15 offers from 15 different clubs and he has still not decided where he wants to continue with his future.
He is analysing his options. He was born with freedom, Rocco, and he chose to become a footballer. As his dad I only try to keep him right.
There are no less than seven or eight Serie A clubs who have shown interest in Rocco but he needs to keep going and keep working.
Celtic play their first pre-season friendly in three weeks time, away to Ayr United, five days after Vata’s contract expires.
If he returns for pre-season training it will be a strong indicator that he sees his future with Celtic.
Should Vata decide to move elsewhere Celtic will be due a compensation fee dependent on the club that he joins, an Italian Serie B club would have to pay less than a top flight club.

Rocco certainly has talent but he’s no Dalglish or Macari at this stage.
If he goes it will be disappointing but also beg further questions regarding why the fukk we actually HAVE a development squad. Talent spot, sign and farm out and see how they go.

Bottom line is…It’s how he earns a living…and money talks…Ah canny get too bothered…But I don’t think the Club has handled it well…We’ll see what happens…But I think he’s off.
