Even the loyal bears are starting to voice concerns over the Clement Revolution!
With a fortnight left in the season A Proper Football Manager admitted that the squad he had inherited had reached the end of their cycle.
Egged on by their media messengers and cheerleaders stories were being leaked that suggested that there would be a massive turnover of players during the close season.
Ten in and ten out was a given with expectations of at least a similar spending spree to last years Beale Revolution! that splashed out £15m on Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers and Danilo.
Three weeks on from losing in the final of the Scottish Cup and a week before the start of pre-season training only Jefte and Clinton Nciala have been added to last season’s losers.
Despite the Real Madrid and Calvin Bassey claims it is hard to buy into much when the two arrivals have a combined tally of 25 appearances in the Cypriot League on their CV.
The Euros provides a nice distraction from the failings of the Ibrox board, it seems that most club’s aren’t interested in a loan with an obligation to pay a fee in a year’s time. Clubs from Ibrox have a problem with their credit history.
Other than five expensive out of contract flops it seems that no-one is leaving, even the Daily Record are starting to get tired of their moonbeam that James Tavernier and Connor Goldson are about to join Al Ettifaq for mega-bucks.
Next Monday Scott Wright, Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo, Ridvan Yilmaz, Bed Davies, TikTok and the usual crew will be reporting to Murray Park for pre-season training. The rumoured £21m bid for Jack Butland appears to be on hold.
Social media clips of amazing goals in training sessions only goes so far, serious spending is required with August potentially bringing four Champions League qualifiers alongside trips to Celtic, Hearts, Aberdeen and Hibs in the first round of SPFL Premiership fixtures.
Keevins at his best today claiming a coin for that pish of an article.
Then you have wee Coco the klown at ibrox noise all giddy with excrement sorry excitement about the new signing on a freebie from AC Milan who they expect to sell for more than the cash they got for big Shirley.
A player that has yet to play a professional game of football they are going to sell for £20-30 million.
Wee Coco back on them funny fags again and drinking some serious BUCKIE.
I cannot see him (Coco the known) drinking Buckie Joker…
As they play in Green and White Hoops –
And you know their mentally regarding all things Green & White…
Unfortunately I won’t be funding Keevins online or through purchase but I take it he’s at his usual anti Celtic evil yet again !
ya know , i’d buy butland on the cheap for about 4 mill , his agent and he would be interested as it’s circling the drain time again fer sevco and there’s no future there for neither him and the rag tag bunch the hillbilly Bears !!! imagineall the fun laughter and ” jollyness ” ahead of all the bear baiting that awaits us as we barrel towards 55 56 57 etc etc ….. chortle !!!
What about our board performance signings ? How are we meant to get those power and pace not to mention percison guys al la germany examples guys signed whilst playing euro?.
Cant see many even thinking about signing anything whilst these are on who knows who can break down and a standby at club level has to step up? .
Am thinking this window might be a dud mibbie angus gunn will come on market ?
Clement Revolution has stalled? When did it start? The SMSM feeding the Sevconuts a diet of nonsense and grade A bull crap. The hard of thinking guzzle it down in bucket loads. Hell mend them.
Celtic’s greatest ally is the Sevco fan base whose expectations with their champagne tastes and beer money which is so destructive. Their unrealistic dissatisfaction seeps into the manager and the players and they actually sacked a manager who got them to a European final and only lost on penalties.
Lawwell, on the other hand, has champagne money and beer tastes. Go figure.
Daizen Maeda may have destroyed that £21 million bid for Jack Butland.
At £1 million per second that he took to score against them at Ibrox in April.
Nice Going Daizen!
The only certainty about sevco’s transfer activity this summer,
is that Lurch is going to be left with several highly paid, unwanted and perhaps
unliked players such as Cantplaywell.
Knowing that they are not rated by the manager, they are going to be a source
of disruption / unrest in the ibrox squad – and especially when the sevco results dip.
Just need to hear some news about proper,
paid-for players coming into Parkhead now… 🙂
