Oh Hyeon-gyu appears very close to leaving Celtic after agreeing personal terms on a transfer to Genk.
At 6pm tonight respected Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri shared very detailed information to his 98,000 Twitter followers on what looks like being the first major transfer out of Celtic this summer.
After a promising first 12 months at Celtic Oh struggled to make it onto the bench following the signing of Adam Idah with his last appearance coming on February 17 as an 80th minute substitute at home to Kilmarnock.

If Celtic go ahead with the transfer it would leave Kyogo Furuhashi as their only first team striker with links to Idah expected to continue.
The fee mentioned above works out at over £4m which could go towards securing the return of Idah on a permanent basis.
There are probably a dozen players in the first team squad that Celtic are looking to move on but it is unlikely that there will be a rush of offers coming in for Yuki Kobayashi, Ben Siegrist, Marco Tilio or Kwon Hyeok-kyu.
With the registration for new signings allowed for tomorrow there will be an expectation for business to pick up with Brendan Rodgers appearing to be fully in charge of incoming and outgoing movement of players.
If it doesn’t go towards the fee due for Idah, then it will go towards raising the £60 odd million we are sitting on!
Once again Celtic are linked with players from all over the place but there’s nothing concrete happening! We’ll probably end up scraping around at the end of the window buying more bench warmers!
Surely there’s a list of players Brendan would like already drawn up well before now and that have been watched over and over and each has been sounded out for potential signing.
‘Rangers’ and others who do not have the same resources as Celtic are already bolstering their squads with early signings? Time to get the finger out and let us fans see the board’s intentions for the season ahead.
