Serial loser Clement hits the gym to work out his frustrations

Two weeks on from climbing the steps at Hampden to pick up his Scottish Cup losers medal Phil Clement is back in the gym, showing off his exercise regime to loyal bears.

Why a 50-year-old man needs someone to follow them round the gym with a camera then gets it edited down to share on social media remains something of a mystery.

Other than emotionally charged Farewell messages there has been nothing on Instagram from Clement’s players since Hampden, not even from the usually prolific Todd Cantwell.

After a golden six months of being drooled over as A Proper Football Manager the Belgian is starting to come under scrutiny for having a worse record than Micky Beale.

Four matches against Celtic have produced three defeats and a draw, if that record continues into next season it is doubtful whether Clement will make it past Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s 366 days in the job.

With five stars walking away as free agents last weekend the Ibrox squad is in need of major surgery with Real Madrid linked Jefte the only new arrival in the door.

Trusted CEO James Bisgrove has also walked away leaving Clement to deal with Executive Chairman John Bennett on transfer matters with pressure mounting on the Ibrox board with Celtic winning seven of the nine domestic trophies played in front of fans following the freakish Lockdown season.

Joe McHugh has been Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.
When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.
Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement, cheers big man.
There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same more than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying every success for Scotland's Most Successful Club.

Reminiscent of Vladimir Putin’s tap-aff imagery. All he’s missing is the horse.
