Rubbing salt into open wounds the Minutes were released yesterday of the meeting of the Fan Advisory Board at Ibrox on June 17.

Half a dozen loyal fans brushed down their blazers and polished their brogues to attend a meeting where they were told that everything in the garden was rosy.

The squad would soon be refreshed with bright, young ambitious talents, the blueprint laid out by James Bisgrove would carry on after his sudden departure with the WhatsApp rumours about delays to building work on the Copland Road Stand to be dismissed as mischief making.

And then the s**t hit the fans. Three days after tea and biscuits had been served.

Almost three weeks on there has been nothing out of Ibrox other than a hatchet job on Bisgrove handed to the Daily Record.

Talks over moving to Hampden and Murrayfield are on-going with no-one prepared to say when Ibrox will be open again to fans.

After the way that last season ended goodwill to the Ibrox board is running low with Chairman Bennett keeping a very low profile as anger mounts.

August looks like being a very testing time for the club, if Phil Clement fails to reach the Champions League the financial realities will hit home coupled with the anger of 46,000 Season Ticket holders being kept in the dark after shelling out an average of £700 for the privilege.
