Faced with paying La Liga wages and a proper transfer fee the moonbeam that was carrying Joan Jordan to Murray Park has crash landed.

The male Sevilla midfielder has provided a welcome distraction over the last week or so as the media messengers play out a familiar game with stories bouncing back and forward with Spanish outlets.

With three years left to run on a lucrative La Liga contract there was never any chance of Jordan switching to Hoofball under the Belgian Beale as he tries to set up the goals for Cyriel Dessers and Scott Wright.

As ever the story is twisted to comfort anxious bears, Jordan hasn’t point blank refused the offer of a private jet to Murray Park, as is always the case the 2012 Tribute Act have pulled out of a race that they were never in.

Tue to form Record Sport Understands makes another appearance with.

Sources in Spain claimed Gers had shaken hands on an agreement with his La Liga employers that would see the Light Blues cover 60 percent of his Sevilla salary during a season-long loan in Glasgow. A £3.4million option to buy was said to be included amongst the deal’s small print.

But Record Sport understands talks have stalled and the move will now not be going ahead. It comes after reports in the Andalusian capital claimed the former Espanyol, Valladolid and Eibar ace was unsure about making the move to Ibrox despite having been told he’s no longer part of Sevilla boss Garcia Pimienta’s plans. The Gers have so far signed six new recruits this summer, with Vaclav Cerny the latest to check in following the early arrivals of Connor Barron, Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, Hamza Igamana and Liam Kelly.

Clement has until Thursday to name his squad for the Champions League qualifier which is likely to be against Dinamo Kiev, two additions can be made up until the night before the first leg.

Despite claims that this summer was going to see a monumental changeover in the Ibrox squad losers like Ben Davies, Rabbi Matondo, Ridvan Yilmaz, Kieran Dowell, Tom Lawrence and James Tavernier know that there is no chance of their current salaries being matched by any other club.

Good news for bears is that free agent John Fleck is training at Murray Park.

Would the empty warchest force Clement to add the transfer-listed

Cantwell to his CL Qualifier squad…?

Well, nobody’s going to buy the social media star.

(Suppose a loan deal – with both clubs splitting his wages – could happen?)
