Matt O’Riley returns to the Celtic side for the friendly against Queens Park.

Across the road at Hampden the midfielder completed an outstanding season on May 25 by helping the hoops win the Scottish Cup.

Tonight’s team is a little stronger than the one that started the draw with Ayr, making a return after an impressive loan spell at West Brom is Mikey Johnston.

A penalty from Kyogo Furuhashi earned a draw away to Ayr United with a variety of youth and fringe players used over the 90 minutes.

Dane Murray made a very welcome return after two lost seasons through injury while Bosun Lawal looked the part in his new central midfield role. Murray continues tonight, partnering Stephen Welsh in central defence with Maik Nawrocki picking up a knock on Friday night.

The four players involved in Scotland’s European Championship squad will join training shortly with the next outing away to DC United on July 21, quickly followed by matches against Manchester City and Chelsea.
