Following Saturday’s performance against Manchester United fans of the Ibrox Tribute Act are close to full on panic mode.
The comfort provided by Phil Clement’s first six months in charge is fast fading as they grasped at the Belgian Beale managing to get a tune out of serial losers.
From April onwards the wheels fell off, Benfica and Motherwell had already won at Ibrox but two points from matches against Celtic, Ross County and Dundee restored reality and unleashed a lot of anger in bears after being duped again.
Five losers walked away at the end of their contracts, efforts are underway to get rid of James Tavernier and Connor Golson but there is no sign of seasoned arrivals coming in ready to take the SPFL title from Celtic.
After the hype around projects from Cyprus and Morocco reality is kicking in with Super Scoreboard a great sounding board for fans to let off steam.
Andrew McLen and Gordon Dalziel are trying to drum up enthusiasm for the new season but sat gloomily listening as one caller let rip with the fears that without Tavpen and Goldson second place might be out of reach in the season ahead.

I am very disillusioned and worried, people round about me on Saturday were talking about second place already- I don’t even think second place.
If that team that started the game on Saturday starts our first game of the season then we’re going to be battling for third and fourth.
Hibs are having a bit of an overhaul, Aberdeen has brought the Swedish fella in, our ‘friends’ on the other side of the city have got the money but don’t seem to want to spend it yet, they could if they wanted to.
I mean I remember Celtic were referred to for their Biscuit Tin mentality- we don’t even have the Biscuit tin, we’ve got nothing.
The fans, we are ploughing money in. I heard a fan say it earlier on- the money for Bassey, the money for Nathan Patterson- where is all the money?
Where is all the money? The wage bill must be reduced by £100-150,000 a week with all the players, where is all the money?
It hasn’t been established if Clement has returned from attending a ‘wedding’ late on Saturday night in Belgium.
With each failed Revolution! and the increasingly toxic nature of the ‘support’ the task of managing the 2012 Tribute Act gets tougher and tougher with no sign of outside ‘investors’ prepared to help out of take control of the homeless club.
As I said previously Quark was in a couple of pubs in Duke Street over the weekend bragging about him Billy Dodds and wee Barry the spanner taking over training while a replacement is found for Kojak, baldy ain’t coming back hence Quark getting a bit of practice in for dealing with the media.
I thot they guy fae Morocco wiz the NEW Doofers LOL! UTTER DROSS they’ve bot if of crse they’ve spent any money at aw!! More CREATIVE Accounting required at the Asbestos DOME WHAHAHAHAHA!!
Overspending got them a Runners-up medal, which is good for a new club but the balloon has now burst. Shades of Gretna.
The biggest enemy of Sevco are their fanbase, inc the media, who seem to have champagne tastes and non-alcoholic beer money.
I think this is worth repeating.
Last season, Sevco won the league cup, may have won the league but for a couple of mistakes in the run in, and lost the Scottish Cup final by a goal and it could be argued were the better team in the second half.
Celtic’s £30 million midfielder was nowhere that day.
A few years back. I heard nothing but they are going to get their behind handed to them with every draw in the Europa League but made it all the way to the final and where they Karmically and comically lost on penalties.
To all you Generals Melchetts out there, I say this, “know your enemy”. Last season was a struggle due to one big leech in the Celtic boardroom and this year is probably going to go the same way especially if they scrape up enough to buy Strickland.
BR should be playing his best team but we are seeing 3rd 4th choices getting a go. The pool is weaker than last year.
Yes, it could be argued that we are the Champions though.
And we won the Scottish Cup!
Maister, the treble should be a given and we should be concentrating on Europe. Lawwell is holding them back for whatever reason. Is the “Old Firm” a business reality even if it actually no longer exists?
WTF!
A
“Given”?
You mean a Shay Given!
If the treble was awarded before the season begins, we can all just go home then?
What would be the point?
We could have lost the League, sure!
But we didn’t. That is not down to luck or even pre-destination. We had to do it. And we did it!
That must have been hard to take over by!

Eh, Charlie?!
