One Ibrox fan is taking the expected arrival of Auston Trusty at Celtic rather badly.

A year ago loyal bears were in a state of high excitement as they anticipated the Arsenal defender signing up for the Micky Beale Revolution! being led by Todd Cantwell and Nicky Raskin.

A £5m fee put paid to that hype, The Brains Behind Gerrard never signed any defenders during the summer transfer window with defeats to PSV Eindhoven and Celtic virtually killing off that Revolution!

Trusty moved from Arsenal to Sheffield United, suffered the inevitable relegation while working under two old school managers and the traditional coaching methods of Stuart McCall.

Philbaw on Twitter is taking the news badly. Two out of three ain’t bad with Beale securing Danilo and Jose Cifuentes with neither expected to start against Celtic on Sunday.

Phil Clement has spent most of August trying to get Beale’s flops off the wage bill but it looks like it will take some large pay-offs today to get flops like Cantwell out the building.

Norwich are due a sell-on cut in the Cantwell deal with Aberdeen in line for a £10,000 windfall if Scott Wright’s move to third tier Birmingham goes through.
