  1. Our transfer dealings are amateurish…and embarrassing…and have been, for more years than I care to remember…So who will we sell and who will we sign..??….I don’t give a feck to be honest …It’s beyond a joke.

  2. More self sabotage by Lawwell, clearly won’t be happy till Rodgers leaves.

An absolute shambles of a club mired in mediocrity. We’re going nowhere with these charlatans running the club.

    Get them all tae feck.

  3. So how did the Rectum get this story? It continues this trend of trying to undermine the manager and his plans for the squad.

Who might have an interest in this and who benefits?

Whoever it is, is no friend of Celtic.

  4. Celtic do everything to make the £ millions. Put them in the biscuit tin. Directors get bonuses. Buy a player in order to win the UCL. Remember Gravesen, Junihno?
Fans left wondering, bewildered. Embarrassed again!

  5. This board are shocking, they wait to see if they can sell Matt, before putting a bid in for anyone,it’s not like we’ve got no money and need to sell before we buy,it’s the usual greedy penny pinching biscuit tin mentality, what if Matt doesn’t get sold till the final day , every target we’ve been after will have moved on and we’ll get the same auld pish Fae the board.i in a way think the fans are partly to blame for the way this board operates, all STs have been bought, probably all CL packages bought, all 3 kits been bought and the board still haven’t added to last season’s first team squad but why should they, they know the faithful loyal gullible fans will still pay upfront regardless how much contempt this board treats them with. They won’t spend till they sell ,that’s what sevco are reduced to but sevco don’t have 100 million in the bank, god forbid this isn’t the other way round ,if sevco had 100 million they would have snapped up every decent available player and left us for dead once and for all, make no mistake they would love to kill our club stone dead if they could, they tried it once before remember by asking bank of Scotland,ie Murray’s bank to foreclose on our debt,if Fergus and co hadn’t stepped in we would be cosigned to history like third Lanark because the SFA wouldn’t step in to help like they did for the Huns.

  6. Whilst the club is undoubtedly highly successful at building its cash reserves,

the common complaint amongst the support is that we should be seeing more

success on the pitch: specifically some tangible ‘progress in Europe’.

The club does have a global reach and with some brand building success in

Europe, both the business and football sides could significantly grow.

    A stable, undervalued club…?

    Which reminded me of this Wiki copy/paste;

“…By the end of 2003, Glazer… took control of 75% of the club’s shares, allowing him to delist the company from the London Stock Exchange, and within a month, the Glazers took 98% ownership of the club via their Red Football parent company, forcing a squeeze-out of the remaining 2%. The final purchase price of the club totalled almost £800 million.

Most of the capital used by Glazer to purchase Manchester United came in the form of loans, the majority of which were secured against the club’s assets, incurring interest payments of over £60 million per annum…”

We might eventually get some success in Europe, but probably not under the current ownership structure?

…and that success could hit the punters in the pocket a heck of a lot more?

  7. every word Jim Duffy says is true. the board will sell o’riley on the very last day and it will be a loan player not to the same standard bought in. you just know that this board are not interested in doing well in europe just enough to win the league, thats it. yet them up the road have a better european record of late and some how go deep into competitions and we get out first round of games. shoe on the other foot they would bury celtic lets not kid ourselves you and i know that. fans need to stop buying shirts champions league tickets etc, the only way you get the message across is by not giving them money, look whats happened to bud light when they went woke and pissed off the customer. celtic fans need to force the hand of the board. i wouldnt be surprised if rodgers walks again, they did this to him before with mcginn.

  8. The FAITHFUL THROUGH AND THROUGH Brigade will turn a blind eye as usual…and hand over the money …We get what we deserve.

  9. I hate to say it but kris byod says it we spend £15,900,000 the wages go to £60,000 or £70,000 no that would kill us we have no chance in winning champions league we’ll I suppose if your in it you have a chance if we are there after Christmas that’s brilliant even europa so why all this talk Celtic supporters know it but scottish press keep fanning flames we are in a healthy way cause if been run correctly only 10 in a row was hurtful but no supporters but we will do it old rangers wipe them self out trying to get European cup no Celtic support would want us to jeopardise our club yes they say rangers are still the same club but there not the owe
£70,000 ,000 and more been in more courts than Andy Murray new co owners since 2012 A mix of carpet baggers and snake oil sales men no way I’d want that to chase a dream spl and trebs till we get into a bigger league it’s coming
