Celtic are reported to be in contact with Liverpool over a loan move for Owen Beck.
The claim is made in a video round up by Lewis Steele of the Daily Mail who is with Liverpool on their trip to the United States.
Beck arrived at Dundee a year ago on loan with no great fanfare but made a big impact in the first half of the season which prompted a recall to Anfield in the new year.
A permanent move was anticipated during the January transfer window but that ended when he played for 11 minutes against Bournemouth it would either be Liverpool or a return to Dundee for the remainder of the season.
His return to Dens Park was less successful, he did play in the 7-1 defeat to Celtic on February 28 but only made one more appearance before his season was ended by injury.

With Owen Beck Celtic are keen, I know that they tried for another left-back but failed. But, I think that Liverpool want a sale rather than a loan which would rule out Celtic signing Owen Beck.
Celtic’s left-back search is complicated by Greg Taylor being in the final season of his contract. As things stand there is no other left-back at the club with first team experience.
Signing a big hitter would relegate the former Kilmarnock man to the status of back-up while a loan deal for Beck would probably see Taylor continue as first choice as a new contract is discussed.
Friday’s media conference with Brendan Rodgers is likely to centre on transfer activity ahead of Sunday’s SPFL opener at home to Kilmarnock.
I’d say Taylor is looking for a four or five year deal he’s a good professional. His height is a problem we have lost goals either teams target or left side high balls yes left side has missed jota who would hold ball always available for pass yes our left side is vulnerable that’s three players under scrutiny not just Taylor scales passing poor palma losses ball to easy catching Taylor up field
