William from Alloa kicked off the madness on Super Scoreboard on Friday night with his suggestion of a hero to turn the tide for Phil Clement.
Seven wins in 19 matches, an early Champions League KO and the closure of Ibrox has brought a crushing dose of reality to the loyal bears convinced that they are watching the Most Successful Club In The World.
Real Madrid have never been linked with Tom Lawrence or Scott Wright but lurking in the shadows and still on the pay roll is the one and only Todd Cantwell- the hero that William is pinning his faith on.
Apparently the 26-year-old manchild is full of skill and ability and ready to turn the ship around for Clement.
? “Rangers need a hero – they can’t win when it matters”
? “It’s a time for people to be reborn and save Rangers – right now we will win nothing”

The reaction of Gordon Duncan, Hugh Keevins and Scott Allan told the story but they did their best to humour William.
Eighteen months ago no-one in England would go near TikTok, a third rate influencer with ideas miles beyond his limited skill set.
For more than a year he has duped the loyal bears into thinking that he is a footballing maverick, some sort of wondering genius just waiting to find the club to showcase his ability.
A few ‘haud me back’ posts on Instagram and claims about being a bigger winner than Callum McGregor got William and thousands of others on board to TikTok bandwagon.
Clement thinks otherwise but William could have his wish with history telling us that unwanted players tend to outlast losing managers.

Not all heroes wear capes, but very few indeed wear Alice bands…..
“Everybody knows he’s got talent ” spurts out William on the radio about Cantwell ! Where are all of the offers to buy him then Billy boy if he’s so superb? A massive step needed to be taken to help theRangers with this newest of catastrophes, would be to make a statement to the world that this is not the same club as pre liquidation in 2012 .
Otherwise the super heavy weight around their necks will continue to strangle the life out of them with the perennial pressure and being a falsehood …. every single day . It’s overwhelming trying to swindle the public with this constant illusion ,each and every season and are heading into the abyss like the mark 1 clumpany …..
William needs to get back on his high horse and stop taking the drugs.
Cannywell & Hadi couldn’t even be good ball boys.
Can’t risk Lady Cantwell on the pitch, she may get injured and bazooka the £30M bid Real Madrid could be considering.
I think it’s Willie bridgeman from alloa,I used to work beside him in rosyth dockyard,he was a mad Hun in them days.
