It was business as usual today as Kevin Clancy and Andrew Dallas applied their version of the Laws of the Game as Celtic took on Hibs.
Clancy consistently broke play up with free kicks awarded to Hibs, allowing the visitors to break up play and take a breather.
Another favourite Hibs tactic was retrieving a ball out of play, putting it back on the pitch in the full knowledge that Celtic had restarted play with another ball. Multi-ball has been in use for years, Clancy opted for the quiet word approach.

Shortly before half-time James Forrest burst into the penalty box off the left wing. Two Hibs players knew the danger, Forrest is unplayable and unstoppable in that position.
Combined the Hibs players jostled and pushed the Celtic winger to the ground, Clancy had a perfect view of the whole incident.
On VAR Dallas went through the motions of pretending that he was reviewing the incident, no one was surprised when play restarted with a corner.
In his pomp Dallas once awarded four penalties against St Mirren at Ibrox, even Steven Gerrard was surprised at how far Hugh’s lad went in one fixture.
Just as a side note.
I do like Michael Stewart as a pundit / commentator.
However, for the sevco first ‘goal’ yesterday, he quickly and fairly articulated what we all saw,
but then he quickly backtracked to agree that the goal was “the correct decision”.
Then, today he was very quick to emphatically state that the above was not a
penalty and Jamesy wasn’t pushed.
Look at Jamesy’s body positioning: about to pull the trigger and he goes
flying sideways with a hand pushed against his chest.
Is Stewart trying to appease sevco supporters to keep his punditry money coming?
Really disappointing.
Exactly Bob, he’s trying to save his new job after he’s already been more-or-less ditched by the Billy Boys Club and Sky because he tells the truth. Utterly sickening that honesty is used against the good guys for the benefit of that scum!
That day against St. Mirren the Huns got a penalty every time they claimed for one. If they had wanted ten that day, they would have got them!
Wasn’t it 5 penalty’s?
