Taking time off from his career as a political campaigner Steely was left in awe over the brilliance of Phil Clement as he worked his way through scripted questions at New Edmiston House on Tuesday night.
On Saturday Steely joined the gammons in George Square defending the great British way of life which would result in most of Clement’s squad being sent back to Nigeria, Brazil, Colombia, Turkey and the the Ivory Coast in small boats.
Already this season the results against Hearts, Dinamo Kiev and Celtic have resulted in angry video messages slaughtering the manager, his tactics and signings.
Put Steely anywhere near a manager and he crumbles into a full on grovelling mode with Mister Clement the subject of this week’s adulation.

Two years ago Steely was mouthing off about the useless Giovanni van Bronckhorst, after meeting the Dutchman at Glasgow Airport it was all smiles and selfies with a pure top gentleman.
