He can’t oust Kieran Dowell or Tom Lawrence but from the Europa League squad but Ianis Hagi has been given a good luck message ahead of Romania’s Nations Leagur tie away to Kosovo.
The son of a former decent footballer came off the bench in the 83rd minute to give him 10 minutes more competitive action that he’s received from his club this season. The 3-0 win has a familiar ring to it.
There were high hopes at Ibrox this summer that they’d be able to get rid of Hagi but unfortunately no other club was prepared to match his wages.
As well as that another first team appearance raises his basic by £6,000 a week, with cash tight there is no justification for raising the basic for someone unwanted anywhere is Europe despite the midfielder appearing in three matches at the European Championships during the summer.
?? Good luck to @IanisHagi10 and Romania as they face Kosovo in the Nations League.

Hagi’s agents and big mouthed father are forever talking up the ability and profile of Ianis but a non-scoring or assist creating midfielder just isn’t cutting it these days.
With two seasons left to run on his contract this is looking like a very expensive stand off while Celtic set off looking to win their 55th champions title.
complete hypocrites
this is embarrassing Rangers

You turned on him over money, refusing to play him and destroying his talent. You made the contract, signed it, and knew the terms—so deal with it! Get him playing for Rangers! You failed to recoup money from Alfredo and Ryan Kent—disaster! Here comes the same again!

Play him then

Not to late to delete this. Everyone wishes him luck but for the clubs X to post this when he is frozen out the team is like…..whut?

Hagi should absolutely be part of the team. It’s crucial that Clement moves past personal differences and brings him back, as his creativity is exactly what the team is missing. This is yet another puzzling decision by the rangers manager.
