Soon after enjoying a world class breakfast Phil Clement’s gladiators were cheered onto the team bus from Ibrox this morning with the hate chant of The Cry Was No Surrender filling the Sabbath air.
By mid-afternoon, before the loyal bears had tucked into their Sunday roast an angry mob was waiting for their return after another Celtic Park capitulation. It seems that most of the squad had forgotten what the cry had been.
Kris Boyd’s post match meltdown on Sky Sports summarised the feelings of many bears as they looked at a season on the brink of collapse with the annual autumn search for a new manager about to get underway.

When Clement signed a new contract recently he spoke glowingly of his love for all things Glasgow and Sevco related.
After trying to reason with some angry bears on the steps of the main door to the big hoos it is unlikely that Clement and his Instagram will e out and about much in the next week.
Dundee United away then a ‘home’ League Cup tie against Dundee are waiting on the Tribute Act, after today’s performance, media excuses and reactions back at Ibrox it looks unlikely that Clement will still be in charge for the January Glasgow Derby, wherever it is staged.

The crazy Huns have wee got wee tiny hunnettes there. Bairns.
Hun-nets – Aye we have battered plenty goals into them over the years for sure !
Big Pip , of whom the SMSM regard as the greatest thing since ‘bubblegum ‘ , described theRangers as the best team for the first 10 minutes ,today ! Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say ” yes , the guy is full of bubbles and hot air ” ! Too right he is ! His days are numbered after today’s Ibroxland remonstrations by the good folks of Govanland
He’ll be “resigned” like Warburton and not know anything about it.
Oh no! He made the mistake of trying to reason with these wallopers, that’s a schoolboy error which will cost him his job. The only reason he’s still in post is that the ‘best option’ is probably Derek McInnes and his appointment would go down like a cup of cold sick with the baying hordes. If they hold off until Naismith gets the sack in about a fortnight…. oh wait, no – he did walking away, didn’t he? Scrub him then. They’ll need another foreigner, I suppose. Another comedic turn like poor Pedro…. Walther Gross from FC Cuckoo Clock in Switzerland! OK I just made him up, but that’s the sort of thing they’ll go for next – an absolute Baldrick type manager, like Manuel from Fawlty Towers. Or maybe an old fashioned ass-kicker, like Mike Bassett. No wait, I’ve got it. The perfect manager for them, and he’s been touting himself for it…..
Neil Warnock!
Imagine knowing ur team is sh ite, but still going to the trouble of going to Ibrokes to tell them they are sh ite??
Can only help keep them on the downward spiral getting personal abuse like that, perhaps we will see a wee Bawwy style led revolt from within, he took a right huff getting dropped by Pedro.
I think there are deffo turbulent times ahead….shame.
Terrible way to treat such a warm, empathetic – almost cuddly – zenlike, man management and tactical genius as big Phil. At the doors of the very stadium John Brown played for too!!
