John Lundstram has been described as heavy and cumbersome by the Sporting Director of Trabzonspor.
During the summer the Turkish side accepted a job lot of losers when they snapped up Lundstram and Borna Barisic with claims that their interest in James Tavernier ended when a transfer fee was required.
Anyone with any knowledge of the Scary Scouser would have side-stepped the former Sheffield United ace.
In his last starting appearance for the 2012 Ibrox Tribute Act he scored an own goal and got sent off during a five minute spell.
Returning from suspension for a place on the bench at the Scottish Cup Final he put in another pedestrian performance, failing to wipe out Matt O’Riley in his last act before adding another silver to his medal collection.

SLOW AND CUMBERSOME!
Seems like the big man is toiling here’s hoping that there is an emotional homecoming for the scary Scouser in January.— Celtic365 (@videocelts) September 8, 2024
Turkish publisher Sonhaber reports Trabzonspor Technical Director Seno Gunes saying:
We have several players with the same characteristics. Lundstram is a very heavy and cumbersome football player. There is nothing to do at the moment, but if there is an opportunity to send him to another team, it would be good for both Lundstram and us.
With Ryan Kent also flopping at Fenerbahce it seems unlikely than many more Ibrox losers will be able to find another pay day in Turkey.
Lundstram is expected to return to the English Championship in January although a move to Ibrox can’t be ruled out.
Who would have thought that…??..He was a perfect physical specimen with Sevco…The Turks have ruined him.
It’s a case at sevco get one for free tell the other to fuck off.
Look into his eyes and you’ll knowe he’s more than
“Slow And Cumbersome”!
Lundstram is as described but also a filthy, dirty, OB who couldn’t in any way flourish without the studious help of Scottish refs. Scumbag!
Kent is sitting out his contract there because he knows when he comes back to Blighty he’ll be lucky to get a contact at National League level.
You’d think after the multiple failures of superannuated UK players at the end of their careers, the Turkish clubs would cotton on. One of them even signed Kris Boyd!!! Although to be fair, once they got a look at him in action they reneged on his contract and paid him an amount they considered commensurate with his talents – i.e. the square root of f*** all!
