Chris Sutton watched all of the usual build up to the Glasgow Derby but believes that Celtic may be leaving their city rivals trailing in the slipstream.

Last season Brendan Rodgers’ side won four of the five derby matches by a single goal with the other a 3-3 draw at Ibrox in a match that saw the title momentum turn in Celtic’s direction.

Five months on there was a chasm between the two sides with a 3-0 victory maintaining Celtic’s 100% SPFL record with a five point lead over Phil Clement’s side after four matches.

Celtic saw an early goal disallowed by VAR but were two up and cruising before half-time with the stadium rocking in anticipation of another Derby Demolition.

The hoops never really got going in the second half, they allowed Clement’s side to create a number of chances but in the 75th minute Callum McGregor put the match beyond doubt with a fine shot that was deflected around Jack Butland.

Joe McHugh has been Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.
When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.
Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement, cheers big man.
There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same more than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying every success for Scotland's Most Successful Club.

After a football club goes nipples up and is liquidated , they very ,very rarely come back to the standard and accepted levels as before ….with very few exceptions ! It’s gone forever ,no matter how much they try to swindle their way around the situation second time around . Their clumpany was sold for a £1 coin . They have consistently lost over £10 million pounds a year since the inception of mark ll ,yet was estimated to be worth £150 million pounds the other day without any SMSM scrutiny whatsoever . The old ostrich syndrome routine . Well ,the scoops did so also pre administration and look where that ended up . No money investors worth their salt would go near the Ibroxland Walter Mitty club with a 10 foot pole or would get severely burned in the process …it’s the beginning of the end and they know it , including big fake Kris Boyd….tapoketa ,tapoketa !

Maister, I’ve a feeling you’ve posted a lot of decent stuff on here though I can’t specify what/when but some recent stuff seems to go against that grain.
If you’re having a rough time with things then I genuinely sympathise and could often empathise.
Don’t see this as patronising, but maybe back off a touch until things align for you.
I’m a life-long Tim and just wish the best for all Tims everywhere but it doesn’t, and never has, stopped me from falling out with other Tims from time to time.
          With best wishes, pal.

Anyone would think there is some type of sporting advantage going on here.

But not to worry with that £150 million takeover in the pipeline all is well.

No doubt the written press and radio and TV STATIONS will be telling everyone there’s not much between the 2 teams.
