Phil Clement broke off from his post match media conference to demonstrate the actions of John Souttar that resulted in Hibs being awarded a penalty.
It was a bizarre situation from the former Monaco boss in keeping with his recent actions after spending the first few months of his reign at Ibrox acting as dull as Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Since results took a downturn in spring Clement has been acting increasingly erratic, after getting a draw against Celtic he went on a heart-pumping lap of honour but a week later raced down the tunnel in Dingwall close to tears after losing away to Ross County.
Shortly before half time today Souttar lunged to block a close range shot from Mykola Kuharevich, as his body came down he raised his arms to block the shot.
Referee Nick Walsh decided to miss it but after the ball went out of play a review was carried out with Hibs awarded a penalty which Kuharevich tamely struck towards the grateful Jack Butland.

Today was the third time in nine months that Clement has been animated to Nick Walsh at the end of a match, tomorrow Walsh will be working with the Murray Park starlets in his day job at Boclair Academy.
At the end of December he was looking for a penalty for a handball against Alistair Johnstone, in May at the end of the Scottish Cup Final he was upset that a ‘goal’ from Abdallah Sima was disallowed because of pushing by Nicky Raskin.
The real issue from today’s incident was the decision by Walsh not to send Souttar off, yesterday at Fir Park Dan Casey of Motherwell was given a straight red card in a similar incident.
On Thursday Lyon visit Ibrox with the match officials appointed by UEFA.

Rangers player quite clearly makes himself bigger and moves his arm towards the ball.

Clement’s deflecting again from the fact that they were shocking and hanging on against a honking Hibs side at home
Obviously the media will roll with it and not question him
But what I’m seeing is the orcs who pay their dosh to watch it are not wearing it
Still no sign of the William Hill logo on the Ibroxland advertising boards ….is it Cinch all over again ? What seems to be the problem and how come the SMSM media scoops do not ask theRangers for an explanation , after all the bookie is the principle sponsor of the league ?
“Don’t mention the war!!!!!”
as souttar was on his way down it is quiet apparent that his eye–hand coordination was firmly in action , he deliberately rose his hand , if only slightly , knowing that the whelk would be soft on him , the whole sevco side and management are only to aware that their ” fiends ” in black are sympathetic to their cause , inclement , putting pressure on the officials is the sevco way and he’s being made well aware of this advantage the new club has as did the old ,
i’m convinced that big gob beale turned down wolves to go to sevco knowing full well the corruption and corrupt cabal of cnuts in scotland , we’ve been watching it for years , would make it easy for the bluffer to win the league for a talent less punk like him to then set up a big club in england to come in for him and a huge payday for him and the skint and bent sevco ,
Luckily BR turned up and ripped the sfa a new one after the beaton cheated celtic at hearts , their would be consequences if celtic lost the league to their cheating , we must not rest on our laurels , the rot is still there
Fuckin clown. HH
Thin Diesel comes across as an absolute buffoon. He may be Belgian but he ain’t no Poirot…. in fact it is reminiscent of watching Peter Sellars in character as Inspector Clouseau!
