On Saturday at Fir Park Dan Casey was sent off for raising his hands to prevent a shot from a Sr Mirren player heading for goal.
Referee Lloyd Wilson followed the Laws of the Game, the defender left the pitch to give St Mirren a one man advantage even though the penalty kick was missed
No two incidents are exactly the same but at Ibrox this afternoon there was a similar incident as John Souttar raised his arms to block a close range shot from Mykola Kuharevich heading towards goal.
Fortunately for the Ibrox defender Nick Walsh never noticed the handball, when he reviewed it on the VAR monitor he opted to take no action against the offender although Hibs were awarded a penalty which was missed.

Earlier this month Willie Collum made a rod for his back by creating a half hour You Tube show to highlight certain incidents and explaining the outcomes, surprisingly for the SFA it was admitted that mistakes were made.
The new Head of Refereeing at the SFA should be making another show next week, the selection of incidents will be closely watched with each weekend of fixtures generating enough to justify a show on its own.

I commented on an earlier post about souttar ,
Hand–eye coordination Definition & Meaning – Britannica ,
also in boxing , it was very obvious to me , and the ref had a rerun and better look at the incident that he was very deliberate in his actions , this ref is part of the cabal , one of them must be taken out of the game to serve as a warning to the cnuts who couldn’t lie straight in bed !!
Guess that Collum’s online reviews will be quietly stopped in course…?
It’s blatant cheating or incompetence at the highest level by referees, neither looks good.
