‘Sick of it’ ‘Atrocious’ ‘Fraud and coward’ Angry bears lash out at Super Jack Butland and Captain Disappointed

Not even Super Jack Butland was immune from criticism as he fronted up after yet another defeat in the Glasgow Derby.

During the summer Phil Clement slapped a £30m transfer tag on the former Crystal Palace reserve, it’s unlikely that the Belgian Beale will have to fend off any bids in January should he still be in charge.

At the turn of the year the Gullible & Deluded were demanding an England call up for Butland, these days there are genuine calls for Liam Kelly to take over the loyal gloves passed down from Goram and Greegsy.

With James Tavernier in hiding Butland was sent out on media duties yesterday, being in front of the cameras and microphones is probably the place the 31-year-old feels most comfortable.

Butland is an expert at stringing together the excuses and deflection quotes, keeping it upbeat about taking positives that don’t exist, working hard and being determined to put it right for the fans.
