The reason why Park, Bennett and Taylor won’t let King near The Blue Room again

Dave King’s attempt to become Chairman at Ibrox barely lasted 24 hours when the Daily Record informed their Army of Readers that there would be no Blue Room return for the South African based ‘businessman’.

All of King’s favourite messengers were sent the statement with a 10.30pm embargo on Sunday night giving the reporters plenty of time to select their favoured headlines.

No-one was going to question King on his March 2020, in this day and age of media cutbacks being in the loop for King’s content is vital with clicks guaranteed from Ibrox fans desperate to see Celtic’s domination come to an end.

According to the man described as a glib and shameless liar in a South African court, he was the sole reason for the freaky 20/21 Lockdown title win followed up by reaching the 2022 Europa League Final and winning the Scottish Cup.

Conveniently overlooking the fact that in March 2020 King bailed out, stepped down to spend more time in South Africa to leave Douglas Park and John Bennett to pick up the tab for the Castore and Hummel legal actions plus a price fixing fine where the club was overcharging loyal bears.

Not only did King bail out but he demanded the repayment of his loan, plus interest or else…

Previous practise among Park and others was to take it on the chin with loans, write them off in exchange for worthless shares because they have the good of the club at heart. But not King, oh no.

Despite all the gushing headlines about this great ‘Rangers man’ King has never put money directly into the 2012 Tribute Act.

In 2015 he fronted the Three Bears consortium that bought out other shareholders to take control of the club with just over 30% of the shares bought up

Two years ago King revealed a cunning plan to sell his shares to Club 1972 over a three year period, that was quickly abandoned with no other takers.

It is unusual that the biggest individual shareholder in the company has no boardroom representation but from previous experience it is clear that King and his delusions aren’t welcome by the directors he left behind.

Nothing more than a scam from the cross eyed hun glib, to try and get something out of the carcass to the scum imo?
Hope he succeeds in having to overlook the next administration on its way for the scum?
The rats aren’t leaving the sinking ship for nothing, and have been for some time now, only indicates that the financial situation is even worse than we are been told imo?

King’s glib and shameless lie that he would have wanted to come back to Sevco, bringing investors and Gerrard, thereby solving all their problems in a couple of years has made it even worse for the club he claims to support. This will further alienate the fans and the board making it more difficult to “steady the ship.”
Yo can imagine about 90% of them think would have been a reality.

Like lawyers say, never ask a question you don’t know the answer too and King knew before he made the statement it would never be accepted thus making a hero without actually having to do anything.

Civil war orange-on-orange conflict looms ahead. Stock up on the popcorn, jelly and ice cream, sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the fireworks show…..

The CHISLERS plan is this, get back behind the desk and the sack Kojak.
Then get it out there that Gerrard is coming home with Saudi money investment.
Should Gerrard not arrive he will bring in Dyche from Everton as he is only 1 game away from his P45 there.

They couldn’t get a CEO when they had a Chairman.

Who would want the CEO role now at ibrox?

A club struggling on all fronts and whatever you do, you’ll just get pelters

from your very own ungrateful / ignorant supporters.

Supporters who expect their new club to be just like the old club!

If the St. Mirren chap knocked back the CEO role,

maybe sevco should lower its sights…

and maybe try to attract the CEO of Forfar Athletic?

  • Joe says:

You forgot to mention that when King formed the 3 Bears for the takeover he actually breached city of London takes over regulations which resulted in the cold shoulder.

Editor: He does have quite a lengthy record!

  • Valentine's day massacre says:

Would you or your business partners want to trash your own reputation by dealing with King ,,the guy with the coldest shoulder and character ,anywhere as far as the eye can see ? He is persona non grata and carries around a stench that would shave you in it’s sharpness .Anybody thick enough to take a punt with this crook better have an ice pick at the ready as he’s frozen solid in City of London business circles ! He’s nothing but perma frost without global warming …..

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

If he’s stiffed them and took £832,000 outta their coffers then he’s done just fine with one thing anyway !
