Ryan Jack is hoping to complete a dream move to Turkish no-marks Erokspor.

A quick look at Soccerway reveals that they are sitting in 19th place in the Turkish Second Division- the 39th best club in the country, the equivalent of Clyde or Stranraer. Three matches into the season Erokspor are pointless, much like signing the former Ibrox ace.

Recently BBC Scotland provided Jacko with some television and radio appearances but that failed to fool any Scottish club into offering the midfielder a contract.

Jacko has been lurking around a few clubs this summer, watching St Mirren, discussing his links with Derek McInnes and Tony Docherty but after a week training with Motherwell and discussing his salary hopes for a move to Turkey training facilities were withdrawn.

The 32-year-old started five SPFL matches last season after convincing Micky Beale that he was worth a 12 month deal, his last appearance was as a 77th minute substitute away to Benfica on route to the quadruple.

Jack was named as a substitute for the Scottish Cup Final in Mat but never got off the bench, adding another silver medal to his collection before his bizarre inclusion in Steve Clarke’s squad for the European Championships in Germany.

The Daily Record reports:

Former Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has been offered a deal to end his exile from the game with Turkish minnows Erokspor putting an offer on the table.

The out-of-contract midfielder has travelled for talks with the Turkish Second Division side. The 32-year-old has been without a club since leaving Rangers before he went to Euro with the Scotland squad. Jack has held talks with a number of Scottish clubs, including Dundee and St Mirren, and has also been considering his options overseas.

In recent times Allan McGregor, Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller have had brief spells in Turkey with John Lundstram and Ryan Jack both being found out.

After grassing up Alfredo Morelos and the training regime at Ibrox during an Open Goal podcast it is unlikely that any UK club will go near Jack who has never applied to join MENSA.

Jack is represented by the Treuro Agency which also has Andy Halliday, Scott Wright, Jason Cummings, Kenny McLean and Jason Holt among their clients.
