European right-backs have been served notice that Daizen Maeda is more than just a winger.
By the end of this year James Tavernier should have some company in the treatment room as he recovers from the trauma of facing the machine that patrols the left flank at Celtic.
Sure he might miss a chance or two but there was a real calmness about how he scored Celtic’s fourth goal against Slovan Bratislava but as ever there is more, much more to Maeda’s game.
Deep into the second half half of a demanding Champions League tie the Japanese striker was setting off on full power 30 yard runs to retrieve the ball and return pressure onto the Slovaks.
I’m convinced Daizen Maeda is from another planet. pic.twitter.com/6Wv3RS5a3G

While Ange Postecoglou has moved on from Celtic in Daizen Maeda the spirit of Yokohama F Marinos lives on with hoops fans lapping up every single run from the winger as he hands out the Tav treatment to others.

Oh dear some sevco fud has written an article today about an extra £30 million coming into the new klub next season.
Apparently it’s to do with a new sponsor on the jersey £3 million and another £2 million through catering which adds up to the school I went to as £5 million.
So how they manage to get £30 million pounds out of a total of £5 million,it must be a Delboy Trotter calculator they are using.
Not sure what rag the Sevco Fud wrote it in Joker – But fear not – If its one of The Scummy Scottish Football Media it’ll just be Pathological Lies anyway !
Probably the six fingers he has on the 1 hand !
